Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year. I hope that this year proves to be one of academic growth for your child. It is my pleasure to collaborate with you in the academic and social development of your child. This year we are going to learn New Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and we are going to follow the preferred integrated model for science instruction. This means that you will have a chance to learn topics from all branches of science: Earth Science, Life Science, and Physical Science. Engineering design and art standards will be embedded throughout the course in many activities and assignments. Looking forward to a great year!

Projects: There will be group projects as well as individual projects that will be assigned throughout the year. Students will be given class time to start and work on projects.
