I look forward to being part of your educational journey this year. My name is Catherine Tran, and I've been working in education since 2001. I started at King Middle School in 2002, left to join a new high school for at-risk youth in 2009, and am back in 2014 to teach and work with the math teachers. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Development and Abnormal Psychology, and a minor in Mathematics. I received my teaching credential at UCLA's CenterX, and am currently working on my Masters degree from Cal State Los Angeles. 

 

When I'm not teaching, I like to spend time with my husband and daughter. We enjoy having afternoon tea on our porch, going to the nearby parks and playgrounds, cooking, reading, and exploring the hidden gems of Los Angeles.
