King Got Talent Show The talent show will take place this Wednesday, April 10th, during Period 3 and 4 in the auditorium! An after school show is tentatively scheduled for next Wednesday, April 17th from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. We'll keep you posted!
Spring Book Fair! Spring Book Fair begins Monday, April 8th and ends Friday, April 12th. Parents can drop by the Book Fair during Open House on Thursday, April 11th from 4:30-6:30.
Zoopalooza and Rube Goldberg During Open House Parents can visit the student cafeteria to see the 7th Grade Gifted Magnet "Zoopalooza" projects and see the 8th Grade Gifted Magnet "Rube Goldberg" projects on the 2nd Floor of the Main Building.
Minimum Day - April 12th April 12th is a minimum day. Students leave at 12:30PM. Students riding the buses will be dropped off at their regular time. The buses will leave the school at their regular time, 3:09PM. If parents want to pick up their children earlier, notify their bus driver and do so by 12:30PM.

A Grant for Ms. Ralph and the ESM! The Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation has awarded the Thomas Starr King Middle School Environmental Studies Magnet a $1000 mini-grant for the Straw Free Sunset Student Campaign. The board is excited about the work the Magnet is doing to provide environmental education, promote plastic free awareness and to educate youth about positive behavior change

Congratulations to the King LACER basketball team for winning the game today against the teachers, 35-32! Great basketball game between the teachers Mr. Yontrarak, Mr. Hernandez, Mr. Carillo, Mr. Olmedilla, Mr. Chilcoat, Mr. Gutierrez and the King LACER basketball team.
