Thomas Starr King Middle School Named State Finalist in the $2 million Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest Our school was selected as State Finalist in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest, a nationwide competition to increase interest in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) by challenging teachers and students to take topics out of traditional classroom settings and into local communities. We will receive two Samsung Galaxy® Tabs and the opportunity to win additional prizes.

Jaxx Musical Theater at King Middle School Do you love to ACT, SING, OR DANCE? Celebrate the ten year anniversary of Disney’s smash hit movie, High School Musical. Join the jocks, brainiacs, thespians, and skater dudes at East High in this song and dance extravaganza. High School Musical is fun for the whole family and its large cast size can easily be expanded to accommodate many grade levels. Infectious, danceable songs like "We’re All in this Togther", "Get’cha Head in the Game", and "Bop to the Top" among many others are sure to engage performers and audiences alike!

The standards for dress emphasize that our school is a place for learning, and our primary concern is the education and safety of our students. The school uniform must be worn while attending school and during school-sponsored activities.
