Congratulations Ms. Misra!!! Congratulations to Ms. Misra who was chosen as Educator of the Month!!! She was awarded court-side seats to Wednesday's Laker game, where the team wrapped it up with a win. Ms. Misra is a top-notch English teacher at Thomas Starr King Middle School. She is like a mother to many of her students. She is always willing to help, and constantly goes the extra mile in support of students, parents, teachers and the community.

King MS First Equestrian Team Competes! We are proud of the first Interscholastic Equestrian League Team to represent Thomas Starr King Middle School. Students participated on the Sunday, October 28th event where riders from Middle and High Schools from across Los Angeles competed. 8th graders Harlow Lehman Rhoads, Skylar Hong & Maggie Stein (shown in photo) rode at the second event December 2nd at Hansen Dam Equestrian Center. Following the League’s first show, KMS’s Maggie Stein is ranked 8th in the Novice Division Hunter Class.
