TS King Middle School Computer Animation class students Khachik Kassabian and Jason Peña have been selected by the California Technology Assistance Project (CTAP) Region 11 and Multimedia Services of the Instructional Technology Outreach Division at the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) as winners for the Digital Voice Award. Their project, 'The Golden Soda Can', will be in the running for the grand prize. What makes the win even more exciting is that our students were competing in the secondary category which placed them in direct competition with other high school students in schools throughout the county's many districts. The students were involved with writing their own original stories, designing their own characters, composing their own original music and ultimately, animating their stories using 3D software.
