On Sunday, May 3rd, King Middle School will be hosting school and community volunteers for "Green Sunday." Some of the projects that will be undertaken include gardening and landscaping in the amphitheatre, mural painting in the breezeway, and general campus clean-up. Several community outreach and healthcare organizations will have booths to showcase available services. In addition, we will be hosting a "gently used" clothing and book sale/exchange, the profits from which will be donated to Children's Hospital.
Childcare and kid-friendly activities will be provided and healthy/eco-friendly food and beverages will be served (e.g. no junk food or plastic bottles). All participants will receive Green Sunday volunteer T-shirts.
