The return of the TS King Middle School Poetry Slam resulted in much excitement and noteworthy student poetry.The Slam, under the leadership of Eighth Grade Magnet School English Teacher Mr. Steve Abee, was held in the Room 136 and witnessed by capacity crowds of interested students in attendance. The contestants' submissions were judged on their reading of their original work. The panel of judges recognized all student errort and awarded First Place to Ingrid Measures Grade 8 for Dream and Love is ; Second Place to Elliott Sitz, Grade 7 and Third Place to Jacob Messex, Grade 7 for Apple Juice and The Perfect Man. Congratulations to all King students who wrote poems and shared them with us.
