TS King Middle School Winter Poetry Slam, under the leadership of Mr. Steve Abee, named three winners: Victoria Fong, Grade 8; Bella Echevarria, Grade 8 and Jamie Mayorga, Grade 8 following the December 8 competition.
The competition featured original student poets read by the authors. A panel of judges composed of staff and students detemined the winners.
