Contest Rules:
Who can enter: Thomas Starr King Middle School Students
How to enter: Submit a 30-60 second Public Service Announcement Video around the theme of Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Healthy Relationships.
How to submit your entry: Please write your name, email address & grade on an envelope with your submission inside and drop it off in person to Room 331 (Mrs. Chomori’s class) you can also email your video to [email protected], please include your full name, email address, school and grade in the email.
Theme: Awareness of Teen Dating Violence & Healthy Relationships
Acceptable messages or themes: Promoting positive relationships, effective communication, conflict resolution,
Not acceptable messages or themes: Extreme violence, use of weapons, blood, profanity, obscene language; blaming victims and any sexually explicit, lewd language or scenarios; use of hate language against a certain ethnic and/or racial group and/or religious groups; use of drugs or alcohol.
Any submissions that do not fulfill the above requirements will be automatically disqualified.
Judging criteria: All submissions will be judged on Message, Creativity & Originality
Prizes:
Grand Prize: $ 100
Runner-up: $ 50
Deadline: May 24th, 2012. All submissions must be turned in on or before this date.
